Understanding the normal process of wound healing is exceptionally important, allowing us to encourage progressive healing in a timely manner and avoid deleterious intervention. This webinar will summarise the phases of wound healing and how they are recognised. We will then examine some situations were surgical wounds are created and how we can recognised when problems develop. Finally, surgical and conservative management of these complications will be explored, in conjunction with a discussion of the different wound dressing materials available with Georgie Hollis.
