Coagulation is an important part of the body’s day to day mechanisms, and our patients can experience problems with their coagulation due to countless diseases, disorders and intoxication. This lecture will aim to equip the experienced nurse in practice with the background knowledge on coagulation, signs and symptoms to look out for in the dog and cat and how best to nurse coagulopathic patients in the hospital.
