Your patient has been admitted. It looks terrified. You can’t handle it. How did it get to this? What can you do about it? And how can you prevent this happening to future patients? This lecture aims to look at how we can maintain welfare standards during a patient’s hospitalisation and improve standards in the clinic so that we never just ‘get the job done’ but ensure the patients’ experience is as positive as possible.
