Description

I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2012 with a keen interest in Internal Medicine. After gaining experience in a busy small animal first opinion practice in Lancashire, I returned to do a rotating internship at Glasgow. During this internship, as endocrinology was my area of interest, I got involved in a project under the supervision of Professor Ramsey. This project was on the use of HbA1c measurements in dog blood as a monitoring tool for canine diabetes. Early data was presented as a poster at ECVIM Congress in 2015 and will be presented as an abstract at BSAVA Congress in 2016.
