Description

Physiologic flow murmurs (sometimes called “innocent” or “non-pathological” murmurs) are common in dogs and cats. In some populations of animals, flow murmurs are more common than murmurs caused by heart disease. So when should a heart murmur be investigated? And what possibilities arise once we start to look for heart disease in a patient with no clinical signs? This webinar will address how to stratify risk based on physical examination and signalment, and consider a few options of different pathological conditions that might benefit from further investigation or treatment.
