Description

Addison’s disease can present in many different guises, from the patient with mild chronic gastrointestinal tract signs to the collapsed hypovolaemic emergency. During this session we will discuss how to increase you index of suspicion for canine Addison’s disease, as not to miss this readily treatable disease. We will cover the pathophysiology, history, clinical findings and laboratory testing as well as treatment of the Addisonian crisis and out-patient therapy.
