Description
During the webinar we will discuss the diagnostic methods and why certain techniques are more applicable to different aetiologies in respiratory disease. Time will be spent reviewing video’s of upper airway endoscopy and the areas of interest that should be assessed fully. Specifically further advise on how, why and when to perform tracheal washes or bronchoalveolar lavages will be explained. Advanced diagnostics will also be touched upon during the lecture.
Following the discussion of diagnostics a review of the treatment protocols will be undertaken touching on some new research that has come out in the last year.
By the end of the lecture you should have a thorough understanding of the diagnostic modalities and their role in diagnosing and therefore treating the common airway diseases in horses.
