The University of Liverpool Veterinary Alumni Association (ULVAA) invites Veterinary graduates to a special behind-the-scenes evening event at Chester Zoo when the zoo is closed to the general public.

On arrival, guests will be welcomed at Oakfield house and invited to join presentations from leading veterinary professionals, including Chester Zoo’s Veterinary Director, Steve Unwin MRCVS, who will discuss orang-utan health and the impact of the palm oil industry.

Alumni will then be met by a safari tour guide and be escorted on an informative tour of the zoo visiting various animal enclosures and stopping at the Monkey House where guests are able to chat with a keeper. Following the tour alumni can enjoy a hog roast at Oakfield house.

Tickets are priced at £35 each for Veterinary alumni and their guests, and £45 for non-Veterinary alumni. Your ticket includes entry to the zoo from 10am on the day, a drink at the welcome reception, tours, and BBQ.
