Bio

Briony Alderson qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2000 and after spending 18months in mixed practice in Manchester returned to the university as a resident in veterinary anaesthesia gaining her RCVS certificate in 2003. Briony spent 2 years as a clinical anaesthetist at the university after her residency before moving to a referral practice in West Yorkshire as an anaesthetist. She gained her European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia in 2007. In 2010 she returned to the University of Liverpool, gained her PGCert in 2016 and is now Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Anaesthesia and head of the small animal anaesthesia service there.
