Bio

Zoë is an EBVS® European Specialist and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Equine Internal Medicine Through her business ‘Specialist Equine Medical Services’ Zoë provides visiting equine medical referrals, case support and bespoke in-house training for vets. She is a consultant in equine internal medicine for Axiom Veterinary Laboratories Ltd. Zoë graduated from the University of Liverpool with both a veterinary degree and a master degree in veterinary parasitology. Following time in practice she completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at the University of Nottingham and a residency in equine internal medicine at the University of Pretoria. In 2017 she returned home to the UK, initially working in private practice as an internal medicine clinician and undertaking locum clinical and teaching work at the University of Cambridge. Zoë is passionate about quality clinical care, support for equine practitioners and progression of the field of equine internal medicine.
