Bio

Martin Shakespeare is a qualified Agricultural and Veterinary Pharmacist. A long-standing interest in zoonoses led to Martin being invited to make a presentation at the British Pharmaceutical Conference in 1999. The writing of an education package for the Scottish Centre for Post Qualification Pharmaceutical Education on” Zoonoses for Pharmacists” followed in early 2000, with the material being developed and expanded to produce the first edition of his book on Zoonoses, in 2002, with the second edition being published in 2009.

Martin teaches on the Agricultural and Veterinary Diploma Course at Harper Adams University College, and works as a visiting lecturer on a variety of other related courses.
