Bio

Dr Kieren is a European boarded specialist in anaesthesia and analgesia. She has a particular interest in animal pain and strives to improve awareness of this problem and also deliver high-level care for pets in pain through provision of state of the art perioperative analgesia and chronic pain management on an outpatient basis.

Kieren graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) in 2000. Following graduation she spent time in general practice, at the University of Queensland veterinary emergency center and at the University of Sydney as a Clinical Registrar in Veterinary Anaesthesia.

In 2005 she became a Member of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in the field of Anaesthesia & Critical care. She completed a senior clinical training scholarship (residency) at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket (UK) and she became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia & Analgesia in 2009. Since the completion of her residency program Kieren has worked as a consultant anaesthetist at a number of practices. She is currently based in Singapore and provides services within the Asia pacific region including Hong Kong and China.
