Bio
Kate qualified from Liverpool Vet School in 1983 and spent next 21 years in mixed practice with a particular interest in sheep and beef.
She currently holds a certificate in Sheep Health and Production and past president of the Sheep Veterinary Society and has been a consultant and flock health advisor since 2004.
Kate is also a director of Wales veterinary science centre and lives on a small hill sheep farm in the Brecon Beacons.
