Speaker bio page for Karen Bond

Karen Bond works as Veterinary Advisor for the NMR group providing support for disease testing services.  She is a farm animal vet who spent several years in veterinary practice throughout the country and also a period teaching at Cambridge Vet School.  On leaving practice she took up a post as a technical specialist for DairyCo where her main areas were health and welfare. Karen’s PhD is investigating the impact of calving management on the transmission of Johne’s disease in UK dairy farms.
