Bio

Fergus is a current 3rd year vet student at the University of Nottingham. He is passionate about mental health and wellbeing within the profession and currently holds the role of Welfare Officer for Nottingham VetSoc. He organised and completed his undergraduate dissertation focussing on the impact of exercise on the mental of veterinary students in 2020 and has since presented his findings at the INSPIRE Undergraduate Research Conference. Away from vet school life he enjoys sport, especially running, completing the virtual London Marathon last year for Mind in an inflatable giraffe suit!
