RCVS Advanced Nursing Diploma (DipAVN)
Flick qualified in 2007, working in general practice and has worked in a variety of small animal first opinion and referral hospitals.
She gained the RCVS Advanced Nursing Diploma (DipAVN) in 2012 specialising in anaesthesia, surgical and theatre nursing. She then continued at university undertaking the top-up BSc (Hons) degree in clinical veterinary nursing.
Flick joined Pride Veterinary Centre in 2015 and is currently working in the anaesthesia and theatre department as an Advanced Referral Nurse. She is also Pride Veterinary Centre’s infection control officer. Flick is currently in the application process for the American VTS (anesthesia & analgesia) certification and plans to sit the exams in September.
Flick has experience in teaching, writing academic articles and delivering CPD for nurses, including lecturing at the BSAVA congress.
