Speaker bio page for Elle Haskey

I graduated in 2008 from the University of Bristol with a BSc honours degree as a RVN.  I moved to the Midlands where I worked in a mixed practice for 2 years before returning to the University of Bristol as Senior ICU nurse. I spent 4 years back at Bristol where I studied for and gained the VTS(ECC) qualification in 2012. In 2013 I moved to London where I joined the Royal Veterinary College Emergency and Critical Care team and worked as both senior and head ECC Nurse for a total of 6 years. In 2020 I stepped down as head nurse and back into the team to regain a focus on clinical work and mentoring the students on clinical rotations. I have lectured internationally, written several articles and also contributed to book chapters. I am on the editorial committee for The Veterinary Nurse, in addition to volunteering for EVECCS and BSAVA.
