Speaker bio page for Alenka Hrovat

Alenka graduated from the University of Ljubljana in 2002. She then went on to complete a PhD in Biomedicine there in 2009.Upon completion of her PhD she undertook residency at Ghent University. Alenka has since worked at a number of referral hospitals in senior roles before joining Pride Veterinary Centre in August 2018. Aside her clinical role she also became an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in Internal Medicine at the University of Nottingham. She is interested in all areas of small animal internal medicine and is taking part and leading several research projects as well as lecturing at national and international congresses and meetings. Alenka has a young daughter, and two bonkers dogs that occupy most of her free time.
