Asking the right questions of your customer is key to getting enough information from your customer to do a safe, legal and helpful job in supplying a veterinary medicine. The SQP Code of Practice requires an SQP to take owner, animal and risk factors into account before deciding what medicine is appropriate to supply. This webinar will explore both what questions to ask and the reasons for asking them. The webinar is relevant to all categories of SQP as examples from all animal species groups will be used. Erica Martin BVM&S MRCVS PhD. After qualifying as a vet I worked with both farm and companion animals. For some years I have worked at Harper Adams University in Shropshire teaching undergraduates and developing academic and vocational courses. I have been involved in teaching and assessing AMTRA courses and have met a wonderful selection of candidates over the years. As both an RQP and a customer I know the difficulties of gathering enough information from busy people, but strongly believe that the SQP must have the information to do a good and safe job in veterinary medicine supply.
This webinar is worth 8 AMTRA points.
