I can’t believe it’s 4 years since Hong Kong hosted the last World Veterinary Dermatology Congress in 2008. I am loving Vancouver- a beautiful city. I arrived on Saturday to make sure I was over my jet lag before the conference started. Last time I was falling asleep at all the wrong times. I have seen a beaver in Stanley Park and Orcas by Vancouver Island-fulfilling a childhood dream.
Yesterday, Pfizer held a symposium on allergic skin disease- fascinating, with some of the world’s top dermatologists presenting including our own Richard Halliwell. Today I went to more immunology and also listened to David Lloyd speak about MRSA and MRSP
I will let you know some more hot tips from the congress but I am hoping that you enjoy the Olympic opening ceremony. Maybe the veterinary CPD could have been better timed!
