£300 worth of complimentary CPD- free!

It’s been a busy time for The Webinar Vet over the last couple of weeks. Wendy and Kathryn were busy getting us ready for BSAVA and then it was upon us and finished. I always marvel at BSAVA, a huge congress, organised by a small team at BSAVA headquarters and large numbers of volunteers. I bumped into my old schoolmate, Professor Ian Ramsey, who has almost got next year’s programme organised.

We all really enjoyed the show. It is a great event for meeting up with colleagues. Some exciting new sponsored webinars are on the cards in the summertime. Many vets came to the stand to thank us for all the high quality CPD we are requiring. There was also a bit of banter. Niall McFerran from Alstoe reckons I send him more emails than his boss.

If you are not completely CPDed out, I wanted to remind you of what is upcoming and what is worth a look back.

Yesterday, one of John Sheridan’s mates, Michael Warren, from Nova Scotia did a great webinar on 5 rules to ignite your practice growth. It was very interactive and really blew the audience away. This was part of our practice management series ” Outside the box” organised by ourselves and Vet Dynamics and sponsored by St Francis Group.

You can purchase this webinar for £35 plus VAT or just sign up for the series for £20 plus VAT per month. Our platinum vets get this free as part of their membership

We have lots of complimentary live CPD over the next 6 weeks starting with Rachel Perry’s 2 webinar series on Monday and Wednesday evening next week, kindly sponsored by Pedigree, the makers of dentastix

On 1st May at 8pm, Didier Carlotti, is teaching us about his approach to feline pruritus. David Grant, ex-RSPCA, and my tutor when I was studying for the RCVS cert, told me off for misspelling pruritus which was a bit embarrassing but well deserved. Didier is from Bordeaux and an excellent speaker. I’m sure dermatology aficionados will enjoy this webinar.

I am massively thrilled to be organising a dermatology masterclass with Professor David Lloyd from the RVC. David is a truly gifted communicator and a star in the dermatology field. We have already had well over 2000 vets and nurses register for this series of 4 lunch and learns running throughout May. Please register even if you think you might not get an hours lunch and we will send you a link to the recording. I can’t wait to see this series

As you can see, loads going on this month. I thought I would summarise in one email to keep Niall happy!

All in all, there are 9 hours of free CPD worth over £300 if you sign up for everything.

Looking forward to seeing you on the webinars
