Bio

Gwen Rees qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Liverpool in 2009 and worked in mixed, rural practice in South Wales for several years before moving to New Zealand to work as a dairy veterinarian. On returning to the UK, Gwen took up a post as a Teaching Fellow in farm animal population medicine at Bristol Vet School. Gwen is currently completing a full-time Langford Trust funded PhD aimed at understanding veterinary medicine use by UK dairy farmers within the context of antimicrobial resistance. Gwen sits on the editorial board for Veterinary Record Case Reports and represents the University of Bristol on the BVA Welsh Branch Council.
