By using thewebinarvet.com, you’ll be confirming that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may change from time to time and, if they do, the most recent version will be available on The Webinar Vet website.

Alpha Vet International Ltd owns and operates this website and related sub domains (see list below). If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions of The Webinar Vet website, you must discontinue using it.

The Webinar Vet may revise this Agreement at any time by updating this website; we will inform you in writing of any changes made to this Agreement. 3. Limitation of Liability

(C) The Webinar Vet will have no liability and is not obliged to waive the online seminar fee if you cannot access the online seminar due to firewalls, other hardware or software issues within your organisation or failure of any system by you. It is your responsibility to check that the link works on your system.

(D) The Webinar Vet reserves the right to vary or cancel a course where the occasion necessitates and accepts no liability if, for whatever reason, the course does not take place.

(E) If a jurisdiction does not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability in accordance with paragraph (A), (B), (C), (D) or (E) but allows a limitation of a certain maximum extent then our liability is limited to that extent.

The Webinar Vet expressly disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions or conduct of any third-party user of this website or any advertiser or sponsor of the website. Under no circumstances shall The Webinar Vet and its officers, directors, employees, agents licensors, be liable for any injury, loss, damage (including special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages) or expense arising in any manner whatsoever from:

4. Force Majeure Event

4.1) The Webinar Vet will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).

4.2) A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-occurrence, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes, in particular (without limitation), the following:

  • strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action; or

  • civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war; or

  • fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster; or

  • impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; or

  • impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks.

4.3) Our obligations under these Terms are suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will extend the time to perform these obligations for the duration of that period. We will take reasonable steps to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under these Terms can be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

5. Links, Downloads, Features and Advertisements

  • your breach of any of the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement;

  • your access, use or inability to access or use The Webinar Vet website or any The Webinar Vet website content or other content to which The Webinar Vet website is or may be linked to from time to time;

  • your use of, reliance on, publication, communication or distribution, uploading or downloading of anything on or from the com website; and/or

  • your violation of any law or regulation.

7. Registration and Use of Passwords

7.1) To access particular pages and features of this website, you may be asked to register with The Webinar Vet. You agree:

  • that The Webinar Vet reserves the right to refuse registration access to any individual or organisation at any time

  • to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by any form provided by The Webinar Vet and

  • to maintain and promptly update the information you provide to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.

7.2) If The Webinar Vet has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is misleading, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, The Webinar Vet has the right to suspend or terminate your access to and use of this website. The Webinar Vet use of any personally identifying information you provide as part of the registration process is governed by the Terms of The Webinar Vet.

8. Privacy Policy

8.1) To access particular pages of this website, you may need to use a username and password, which you will receive through our website registration process. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of the password and account, and you are responsible for all activities that occur using your password or account. You agree to notify The Webinar Vet immediately of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and to ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.

8.2) The Webinar Vet cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure or The Webinar Vet failure to protect your password or account information.

9. Security of Information on the Internet

You should note that information sent or received over the Internet is generally unsecure and thewebinarvet.com cannot and does not make any representation or warranty concerning security of any communication to or from this website or any representation or warranty regarding the interception by third parties of personal or other information.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1) Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the use of thewebinarvet.com (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the law of England and Wales.

10.2) By using the website thewebinarvet.com you irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

11. Membership

Definition

“Membership” refers to any paid or free service accessed via thewebinarvet.com or sub domains mentioned above.

11.1) By submitting your details to access any content on, or by, thewebinarvet.com or any of the above sub domains, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to becoming one of the following types of member:

  • Community (unpaid)

    1. Unlimited

    2. Equine

    3. Farm

    4. Nurse

    5. Practice Management

    6. Practice

    7. Vet Student

    8. Meditation

    9. Any other membership introduced at any time by The Webinar Vet

11.2) By submitting your details you agree to receive communications from The Webinar Vet; you also agree to receive communications from selected third parties (only with your express permission).

11.3) Minimum Membership Period – Minimum Membership Period (MMP) is defined as the minimum agreement length for any paid membership outlined above, from initial date of details submission (unless otherwise stated as part of a special offer). The MMP for all memberships above (and future memberships offered by The Webinar Vet) is 12 months.

11.4) Money Back Guarantee – all new memberships come with a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with any element of our service or your membership, then you may cancel your membership and request a refund of monies paid during the first 30 days from sign-up. This offer only applies if you have viewed under 5 hours of The Webinar Vet content (or content from associated sub domains above). In this instance, your CPD record will be wiped from our system, and you will be given a refund on membership (minus admin fees of £30).

11.5) Payment Terms – you agree to make payment equal to your annual membership fee as detailed in your individual payment schedule. Payments are to be made by credit or debit card unless expressly agreed by The Webinar Vet in writing.

11.6) Membership Renewals – your membership will automatically renew 12 months after your initial order, and every 12 months thereafter, unless you inform us that you do not wish for the membership to renew via telephone on 01513240580 or by emailing us at [email protected]. We agree to inform you 30 days prior to your renewal date with details of your membership and payment schedule for the upcoming 12 months. When we renew your annual membership subscription, we will use the payment method currently associated with your account.

11.7) Membership Fees – from time to time we may increase your membership fees. We will notify you at least 30 days prior to any changes, which will only apply at your next point of renewal. If you do not agree to the changes you may cancel your membership at the next point of renewal as per clause 11.6.

11.8 Cancellation 

11.8.1) individual purchases including, but not limited to, pay-as-you-go webinars, Virtual Congress tickets, Courses, Expertise Series tickets, cannot be cancelled once purchased. No refund will be applicable on any purchase which is not an ongoing membership. Our webinar content is uploaded to our website shortly after the live event, and is hosted for a minimum of six months; ergo no refunds will be applicable for these purchases.

11.8.2) to cancel your membership you must call our offices between 9am – 5pm (GMT) Monday to Friday to give your notice. We require 30 days’ notice to cancel.  If you cannot contact us via telephone, send an email to [email protected] and we will respond as soon as possible. Please note your membership is not cancelled until you have received written confirmation from The Webinar Vet.

11.8.3) to cancel your membership you must pay all fees due as per your individual payment schedule for the remainder of your Minimum Membership Period, as detailed above.

11.9) Failed Payments – you must pay all sums due to us from you as per your individual payment schedule as agreed at point of your original order. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for administration and / or legal costs resulting from recovering sums owed by you to us. If you fail to pay us any sums when due we reserve the right to collect payment of all outstanding amounts within 14 days from written request by us. Accounts which are severely overdue may be escalated through our debt collection process, and as such could affect your credit rating.
